@speedmachinex5 I recited Mandalay last week to students! Didn't bring up that little story but did mention they knew him from The Jungle Book. The Man Who Would Be King is a good one.

The short story is a great art to teach writing, it is also wonderful fun just to read. Who is the most recent author you've read short stories from? Me: Edgar Allan Poe.
