Fellow Nigerians,
Now that Justice Mary Odili has given us hints of what judgement the Tribunal would likely give, and in whose favor it would be, I think we need to start knowing all the residential addresses, cellphone numbers, bank account details, immediate sons, daughters and grandchildren of ALL the Tribunal and Supreme Court’s judges.
Desperate times call for desperate measures.
I wish everyone of you Happy Sunday.

@MikaelCBernard People don't just want to work on Nigeria... They just want to be like Elon musk.. with the little css and html they manage to learn

Tech is not going to solve Nigeria’s yahoo problem.
I’ve lived with hustlers long enough to understand what makes people go into fraud, and it’s not something that learning a tech skill will solve.
People enter yahoo as a quick fix to their problems. When someone is frustrated and broke, he wants to get out of that situation as fast as possible. Since the barrier to entry is low, and you believe you can hammer easily, you get in immediately.
It’s the same with betting, Ponzi and other get-rich-quick schemes.
“Tech” as Nigerians perceive it is not a quick-fix. After learning, it can take you a year to land a job that pays you 250k naira per year. It takes a lot of connection, prayers and grace to land the big gigs that make people rich. I know very good devs that are looking for job for months, not just in Nigeria but abroad. Tech isn’t a quick way to make money.
Solution to our yahoo problem is good governance. Anything else, is giving aspirin to a dead man.

@General_Oluchi Many of them are not learned, so they make them believe that the citizens want to take their work away

Someone came to my DM to suggest that we bring the police on our side. I asked her what she meant by “our side,” and she said that the police are always against us when we protest so maybe we need to make them understand why a protest is necessary so they can “leave us alone.”
Listen, you don’t need to beg the police to be on your side. Every well-meaning Nigerian knows that Nigeria is a faulty society that hasn’t benefited anyone. Right now, only high-ranking police officers get paid with mouth-watering packages, but how many years does a cadet have to work in a society like ours to earn enough and not want to pick a side?
Whether the police want to pick a side or not, they must obey the constitution which states that every citizen has the right to a peaceful gathering and the right to move freely or live in any state they want. The police does not need to say a word to protesters, all they need to do is ensure the safety of the people. It is their job; we don’t need to teach them how to do it or beg them to see reasons with it.
If the police are constantly assigned to disrupt a peaceful protest or get in the way of the people rallying peacefully, then you know whose side they are already on — the side of oppression.
