In a recent local election, the candidate backed by many longtime Christian residents lost after data showed unusually high voter participation in precincts with large Muslim and Hindu populations. I think we will see Governor DeSantis endorse and/or campaign for Byron Donalds in the GE against David Jolly. Just a hunch. This is shaping up to be a tight race. Last thing DeSantis would want is for a Democrat to come in and overturn his accomplishments.
