Proud of our 8th grade Advanced Math students in @SpringISD as they participate in TSIA Boot Camp. Many students passed the TSIA on day ONE🙌🏽🎉. When we create postsecondary opportunities early and pair them with high expectations and belief in our students, amazing things happen. We are opening doors and building pathways for success long before high school graduation. Together in Culture Together in Accountability It’s a magical thing when purpose and passion collide. Teacher says parents don't realize how many kids get to school & do NOTHING. They'll sit for 7 hours staring off into the void rather than any work whatsoever.

Schools spend hours trying to “reach” the kid who openly doesn’t care, while the kid who tries every day quietly gets ignored. We’re exhausting ourselves chasing resistance instead of investing in effort.

Small commitments, done consistently with the right people, create life-changing momentum. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏽

@CoachDanGo Yeah. I'm not doing a college fund. If they want to go and have a plan for a specific major where it makes sense, cool. Otherwise - no need.

There is a 99% chance my kids will not go to college. If they want to go, then cool. But I don't see the point in going to college or any form of traditional schooling, given where the world is headed.

The deepest stability in a chaotic world is not circumstances going well. It is knowing God reigns.

For the past 3 months, this special group of 2nd grade students have been working diligently to write, edit, and publish their very own original books! 📚 Today we celebrated all the authors! I'm very excited about what these students will achieve now & in the future! @pgcps

Entrepreneurship might be the greatest equalizer for young people. You don’t need a certain age, background, or permission to start creating value. A simple business can teach students money, responsibility, problem-solving, and real-world skills long before their first job. Most schools focus on content. But the future belongs to people with skills. As a dad and former teacher, here are some of the skills I’m intentionally teaching my son: 👉🏼 people skills 👉🏼 reading habits 👉🏼 touch typing 👉🏼 language learning 👉🏼 AI prompting 👉🏼 entrepreneurship 👉🏼 learning how to learn If we want kids to thrive in the future, we have to teach more than just information.
