Went looking for mid-range MTBs yesterday for me & @MrsFredCast. Stores have no inventory; we were told to place orders and then wait 6-12 months. We stubbornly didn’t. Yet. As an observer of the bike biz, I knew this was happening and ignored it. Then it punched me in the face.

@vivavelo @FredCast I'm not sure what he is up to actually. I know his last podcast was in 2015, so I am assuming he is out of the cycling world. Too bad, because it was a great listen.

I'm gradually weening my follower list, have unfollowed ~200, more to come. Some people I know I'll see anyway (via RTs)—I'm overwhelmed with too much info. I had a desire to want to know it all about everything going on in this country, but now that Biden won, I can breathe. 🙃

@Abratka @vivavelo Nice to hear from you both! I’m still around, still cycling (skiing, hiking, 4x4ing, camping, etc), and I’m an occasional participant in The Spokesmen podcast. I miss being as involved in the cycling world as I once was, but life got too busy and something had to give.

@DanPonce @carltonreid @thespokesmen @RecreationLaw I know @carltonreid was having issues with the feed generator, but I think it has been sorted. Hopefully no more problems in the future.

And that’s the end of the road for our son, Josh. He’s ridden from the @GiantUK factory in Shanghai, China, to the port of IJmuiden. We’re now on the @dfds_uk ferry from Amsterdam to Newcastle.

Another trip on @dfds_uk I’m heading for a few days in the Netherlands to meet my son & ride back home with him. Josh has travelled a little further: from Shanghai.
