DISGUSTING. Canada only gets a pipeline if the Net Zero insiders and carbon-credit billionaires get paid first. No Pathways Project? No pipeline. So let me get this straight… Canada sits on one of the largest energy reserves on Earth, but we’re only allowed to develop it if Mark Carney profits from it? This isn’t environmentalism. It’s a toll booth.

Centralized governments inevitably lead toward core Marxism. Taxation and regulation rise and become the seed of corruption. In Canada, regional economic differences are exactly why centralized governments always overstep their authority. Alberta's separation is INEVITABLE.
Ryan Gerritsen🇨🇦🇳🇱@ryangerritsen

In Alberta a single judge has just basically tossed out the separatist petition of over 300,000 signatures. Danelle Smith says that they will be appealing it as she believes there has been “an error in law” and it’s anti-democratic. This is going to get ugly.

@21failbot @RichardDias_CFA National licensing. But the existing provincial power structures like the duplication to retain their little fiefdoms.

@freedomprocess @RichardDias_CFA Fucking nonsense. There needs to be a simple way for a national standard... that way an ellectrician in QC can work in AB and vice versa.

This is good. But, Man, just imagine if these guys grew a pair and dropped the Net Zero/Carbon Tax/‘Decarbonized Oil’ insanity and did right by everyday Canadians. Build 5 pipelines to the Pacific, green light the mines and refineries and fix the ports. Canada would be set up for the next century.
Scott Robertson@sarobertson_

Tim Hodgson on connecting Canada’s fragmented electric grids: "Canada has 13 islanded grids ... what you'll see is the 10 provinces along the US border trade power much more north-south than we do east-west. In the new world that we're in that doesn't make sense."

@21failbot @RichardDias_CFA Carney should not have promised to remove the barriers then. Guess since he hasn’t lived here in over a decade he didn’t know who does what and evenly came back to enrich himself and @Brookfield

@freedomprocess @RichardDias_CFA The provincial barriers are the purview of the provinces... Harper tried for years to centralize a canadian securities exchange and framework instead of piece meal province by province shit...

@commmoncentz @RichardDias_CFA Plus many European countries (also UK) banned drilling for oil and gas. Economic retarded suicide. And you want 🇨🇦 to follow this path. Get a grip on reality.

@MarkJCarney Your plan rhymes with Germanys plan from five years ago. Look at their results. You WEF 🤡s need to get a grip on reality. The world is short of hydrocarbons and 🇨🇦 is the best source.

@Noremac_Ma_i @great_martis A hot war and 1 billion barrels of oil removed from the market is not enough of a catalyst? What will it take?

@great_martis $1.36 is nothing. 10x that or 20x like what’s possible in the coming weeks is what’s scary.

@LaurenceRHunt Ignorant Liberal voters think he’s a “smart banker” with a “great resume”. If they actually read his book or looked at his track record they would know his loyalties lie with WEF and Brookfield. I didn’t think we could do worse than Trudeau but here we are.

Today's big bold announcement. "Canada’s new government is launching a new National Electricity Strategy. This plan will double the capacity of our grid by 2050 and supply clean, reliable, affordable power across the country for decades to come." No one ever bothers fact-checking these clowns. Electrification of Canada began in the 1880s, but took off in earnest in the 1930s. There was a huge push in the 1970s, especially in Quebec, BC and Manitoba. It took over 100 years, and more than a trillion in investment to get it to where it's at. Just maintaining the system is costing in the order of $20-25 billion a year, with all the aging infrastructure. There's no way we will double our capacity in 24 years.

@timhodgsonmt Ten years after Liberals cancelled a bunch of projects, but better late than never! Nice that a project approved by your predecessors is ready for phase 2 over 12 years later! 🐢

@ExnerPirot Everything is relative. Until we see some clear progress such as new project approval, I’m skeptical. Especially as the Feds hold Alberta ransom for their uncompetitive and ridiculous carbon pricing scheme.

@RichardDias_CFA I hope you are right. Carney already tricked the energy execs in the fall, with many expressing optimism. But he has constantly spouted the clean energy BS that buried Europe economy, and skyrocketed their energy prices.
