I used to think personality tests were bogus (and I still don't like them), but my wife showed me my Enneagram type and it was so spot on I couldn't believe it. It helped me understand myself better and explained why I do things a certain way. It's enlightening, highly recommend.

I just recommended Wix instead of WordPress for my Dad's new website and now I hate myself 😞
His other site uses WordPress, which he hates and gets stuck on every time. He wants a simple template-based site with zero flexibility. That's not WordPress.

I find it surprising that some of you are just now realizing how toxic this community is. I was bullied from the start by one self-important “influencer” in the community so it’s obvious that what is happening now is just par for the course. 🤷🏻♀️

@kenwheeler MM felt like WPE was not contributing enough to opensource while making hundreds of millions of dollars off its infrastructure. He decided the best way to fight this was to try to burn WPE down while taking down the community with it.

This is completely unhinged behavior from @photomatt. Over the last three weeks he’s proven to be the biggest threat to #WordPress, open source software, the community, and the open web.
I hope @wpengine’s legal team grinds him into dust for this abhorrent behavior.

We have been made aware that the Advanced Custom Fields plugin on the WordPress directory has been taken over by WordPress dot org. A plugin under active development has never been unilaterally and forcibly taken away from its creator without consent in the 21 year history of WordPress.

What is disappointing about the whole WordPress drama is that I have seen people I respect call out @photomatt which is understandable, but the same people have refused to call out @wpengine or Silverlake. The hypocrisy. Everyone is just jumping on the bandwagon for clout
