Local law enforcement in California accused Aman Kumar, of India, of striking a 4-year-old boy with his vehicle and fleeing the scene of the accident. The boy is expected to survive but tragically sustained critical injuries. Due to sanctuary policies, the state released 30-year-old Kumar from jail despite knowing he is an illegal alien facing felony hit-and-run charges. Kumar is currently in removal proceedings, so ICE had to assemble a larger team and apprehend him in the community because California jails refuse to work with ICE. 🔎Currently, more than 33,000 illegal immigrants in California custody have active detainer requests tied to crimes ranging from homicide and assault to robbery, drug offenses, weapons crimes, and sexual predatory offenses.

The Indian families I know who own gas stations pool money together with 6-12 adults in the family, they work 12-16 hour days & reinvest most of the profits to acquire businesses. And the “why not stay in India?” point ignores that America offers things that people value more than lower cost of living. Things like scale, infrastructure, financing, legal protections, consumer spending power and long-term opportunity for their children.

When a lot of Latinos became City Council & County Board Members, they voted to suspend the restriction on street vending. When Black Americans (Freedmen) used to try to sell goods on the streets they were arrested. Latinos are enduring Latinos make money.

Why follow the laws and pay the fees from Sacramento when you can simply set up a tent, right Gavin?

The Denver Post trying to do a sob story here about this family being deported to Venezuela. Buried in the article is the fact that because they have a bunch of kids they’re getting a $10k payout to leave and no less than three sets of (likely US taxpayer funded) NGO lawyers are helping them get max payout before they go including one offering a direct line to Colorado’s senators and congressmen. What American family down on their luck gets $10k and 3 different free attorneys plus taxpayer funds for medical care, food, housing etc. I missed the part where I voted for any of this or for a fleet of NGO lawyers to use my money to extract maximum taxpayer benefits for foreigners.
