So another update. Just went to the imaging place to get my scan. Told them I want to schedule a pet scan and pay out of pocket. They freaked out, told me I can’t. Said they won’t do it without a doctors orders. Then as I was waiting for the disk they were whispering and being weird. Found out they are ALSO part of the same medical group. Have I stumbled onto something? Why is everyone so freaked out about me taking control of my health? Either way, they are wrong. I found a place in another state that does them and I have one scheduled. The scheduler at the other place even thought their reaction was weird and said people do preventative PET scans all the time. What’s really going on
