They could arrest that ICE agent in Minneapolis immediately if they wanted to. Mayors, Police Chiefs and Local DAs need to step up and do their damn jobs.

If you’d told me 10 years ago that my family would be on a church Instagram page advertising a fall festival, I would have said you were insane. I was raised agnostic and had a special hatred for all organized religion. I thought it was foolish nonsense. Thank God He softened my heart and pointed me to the truth. A lot of people are afraid to admit how wrong or foolish they’ve been. The best decision I ever made was admitting to myself how wrong I was and letting go of the brainwashing I’d had in my youth. Since that day God has shown me not only that He is real but that He is a true Father to my little Carny Army. Christ is King!

@dougrathbone I suggested sharing those words (e.g., if I had reposted them) could alternatively be taken as a denouncement of the violent act, gun violence, and the rhetoric spread by Kirk. I am not expecting you to be forced into my viewpoint, just a discussion to have you engage with it.

@dougrathbone Just to recenter. Your initial post seems to suggest merely sharing Charlie's own words about the 2A are synonymous with wishing death upon him. And that a perceived group is wholesale onboard with that assessment and that's amoral (a fine line to draw if it were true).

@dougrathbone I disagree with your stance on nuance here. I think there's space to condemn his killing but also critique his participation in stoking the environment that potentially lead to his killing. Hence people sharing his incendiary statements , e.g., 2a or the Paul pelosi attack.

@dougrathbone I'm just saying maybe instead it was "play with fire, you might get burnt".

@dougrathbone The US has lots of guns and a not insignificant amount of people who can be led into acts of violence for whatever reason. The QT implied the implication of the author sharing the quote as saying Charlie was "deserving" of murder
