I've been looking into the high RAM usage after importing the @Unity SDK for @ResoniteApp. Turns out the editor will allocate 4454 unique instances of the exact same script icon, taking 2.18 GB of RAM, instead of single 0.5 MB shared instance. Why Unity?! Why? ;_;

@Frooxius @ResoniteApp @unity Quick question would you be able to implement the import of textures at the formats and resolution set per texture as I ended up blowing up all of my cloud storage as it imported all the raw textures without compression

Version 0.0.9 of @ResoniteApp SDK for @Unity has just released! Has a number of improvements for converting textures, audio clips. Will now convert panoramic skyboxes and use heuristics to always try to convert unsupported materials. github.com/Yellow-Dog-Man… #Resonite

I've been losing my sanity trying to get sample-precise seeking to work with @FFmpeg decoders. It would work fine, except for small chunks of OGG/Vorbis that would be desynced. Turns out it's been a bug in FFmpeg itself all along ;_; trac.ffmpeg.org/ticket/11450

@farwalker3 @theCaptury I'd have to look into that. I'm not too familiar with them (what do they do and require for integration). It would be best if they reached out to our business email.

@Frooxius Would you be able to add either of these motion capture APIs into Resonite: moverse-remote-control.apidog.io or captury.com/resources/? I have reps from both companies who are interested. @theCaptury

@XR_XharpRazor @ResoniteApp Have you read the mod policy I linked? Because it covers this. If mod is made to break guidelines, we take issue with that mod and that mod only. Not with mods in general, because vast majority are helpful. You don't destroy people's freedom over a handful of bad actors.

@SharkTheSharck We've had a huge performance update (called The Splittening), switching from Mono to modern .NET 10 runtime and decoupling the renderer. That helped most people to run significantly better than before, even on weaker HW. Only way to see for yourself is to give it a try!
