I've been looking into the high RAM usage after importing the @Unity SDK for @ResoniteApp.
Turns out the editor will allocate 4454 unique instances of the exact same script icon, taking 2.18 GB of RAM, instead of single 0.5 MB shared instance.
Why Unity?! Why? ;_;

@ArtOfPilgrim Lay a capsule on its side. Cut it horizontally and then flatten it to the ground. Shape key it back to original and in shader add some extreme normal/bump. If that doesn't work then maybe an ocean like water shader can be repurposed. Stop time and have very noisy waves

I know this is a bait, but X11 works out of the box on my embedded MIPS Linux device without editing a single config file. Even the touchscreen works. On the other hand, weston segfaults immediately upon launch. Both are built with buildroot 2025.02.7.

@oerg866 @AstroculeG59 It technically does work and it's an official package because a lot of people use it and depend on it. But it's out of the package maintainer abilities to control when discord decides to break their own client.
Disabling updates by default is also not a good jdea

tried @heliumbrowser on theo's suggestion.
lovely onboarding, truly light weight, would continue using.
... but during onboarding when it asked me if i want to make it default, at once these 7 ungodly named files started autodownloading.
im not sure if these are some necessary files, or spamware?? ( i hope not ) or safe to ignore etc.
but it freaked me out a bit ngl

It is ALWAYS glooby, and NEVER groovy! And because of that it is VERY laggy, and it soft locks right at the beginning of the first Zelda minigame because there are missing functions

@MrPowerGamerBR @versionmasta Does that mean chapter 3 and 4 could be ported to the PS Vita? I don't know if it previously required 64bit CPU but still.
Also the vita is a less powerful console than the PS2 but I assume with more modern CPU and GPU it should compensate?

@versionmasta Butterscotch has Windows and Linux 32-bit builds :) (the only caveat is that, for now, the Windows builds only work on Windows 7+)

the last two phones ive owned have been Pixel's (9 Pro XL, 7 Pro) and have experienced issue after issue after issue (on my 7 pro, the camera is corrupted and crashes in every app, even after factory reset. both are generally just super laggy and issue prone)
