Is Silksong Steampunk?

When I started Silksong, I thought the fleas would not be able to live up to the grubs. I'm beginning to think I like the fleas more 😭 I'm sorry grubs. At the very least, I would very much like a flea plush. And a Sherma plush.

If I find Sherma dead, I will kill everyone in Pharloom and then myself.

Worst part about Silksong is that it invalidates my headcanon of the Hollow Knight Last Thursdayism.

@SheriefFYI @beyond_fps I know emulation isn't going to give great/good results but would 86Box or similar emulator provide some approximation for comparison? Or is there too much noise/external factors like running on a slow W11 machine pretending to be W95.

@beyond_fps no, I have used them at separate times. I would love to do the comparison if I had the resources, but I've seen Win10 / Win11 Start Menu launch times extend into _seconds_, which never happened on Win95.

- "Windows 95 was snappy" = "lol you have no idea how it was" - "do you know whether it was snappier or slower than Windows 11 on recommended spec?" = "no I have no idea" the thought process (or lack thereof) amazes me.
