@GiantTacoHead1 I used to know someone who was very much a perfectionist in art and unfortunatly they never went anywhere with it because of it, i can't rly give much advice on that. you just need to find some way to enjoy the process without focusing on it's quality.

@fsonic3 The first part is true, never done art before when I was younger and doing it as an adult affected my perception a thing needs to be good to be acceptable. Not sure how to deal with it for years, I don't know what to think if drawing is something for me or not from failures

@GiantTacoHead1 you may have very high standards so you can't appreciate the drawing and or process of it, usually that's something that has to be worked on with your personal perception of what you deem to be "good" artwork. appreciate small wins wonky or not.

@fsonic3 In general you're not wrong, but sometimes the fandom is actually so toxic that it gets in the way if you enjoying the ship. I've hard pairings I love turn into something I can't stand because fellow fans I interacted with were just absolute goddamn controlling killjoys

@DrewIsSharing people forget that it costs more money to run those things, not to mention how bulky they are, not everyone has storage space for something like that, and most people don't own their own house to get an installed one either.

I’m from the UK…. If you can afford it, buy an AC unit. “But it’s only for 2 weeks in a year” No it isn’t. It’s from now until the middle of August. An AC unit costs like £325 from Argos. Best purchase I ever made in the UK.

Please be patient to UK content creators We are currently being hit with a pretty intense heatwave, meaning we'll probably be working a tad slower, have less energy and may even need to take a break from our PCs to prevent them from overheating Also none of this "Well we have it hotter over here" bs: - UK heat is built different - Most of us don't have ACs since we rarely NEED them for most of the year - Our houses are built to keep heat in due to how cold our weather can get - We aren't as used to hot weather given how 80% of the year, UK weather isn't hot We're not trying to dispute who has it worse/hotter, we just want patience and understanding 🙏

I've had my portable AC unit running most of the day because I've been working at the PC. It's 28.2c / 82.76f within minutes of turning it off and that temp will keep rising now because of evening sun on this room. Portable AC units take the edge off, but they are inefficient.

@fsonic3 Especially Sonamy. Oh my God my QRT on that one might have been the worst mistake I’ve ever made. Well outside of saying Jewel The Beetle is a grown woman. That went real bad. I was accused of being a P*do because of it.
