It's appalling how someone with zero knowledge of Israel or antisemitism has the arrogance to challenge an expert on both of those subjects on national TV. You "don't know how to debate this genuinely"? Of course you don't.

I found this whole exchange appalling to be honest… I don’t know how to debate this Genuinely Rude, dismissive, and unable to acknowledge any role that the actions of the Israeli government plays in fanning antisemitism.

@DiMagnaySky Israel doesn't target journalists. It targets terrorists. If any real journalists are killed, it's absolutely tragic but it's accidental during the targeting of terrorists. If terrorists also dabble in reporting then they rightly don't enjoy the protection of genuine reporters.

Journalism is not a crime. The deliberate targeting of journalists is. Amal Khalil was killed on Wednesday doing what a journalist should, telling the story. At her funeral, no one we spoke to believed this wasn’t deliberate. Nor that Israel would ever be held accountable

The body of the Lebanese journalist Amal Khalil was found by rescuers after several hours of digging in the rubble after an Israeli strike. She is the fourth journalist to have been killed by Israeli forces in seven weeks. This is why the word ‘journacide’ is now being used.

MSF has publicly claimed that it sought to engage Israeli authorities regarding staff registration and continued operations in Gaza, and that such dialogue was unsuccessful. For the record: @MSF has not officially approached Israeli authorities or submitted the list of local employees, despite its announcement they will do so. Effective humanitarian coordination is based on transparency, professional engagement, and good faith. Public statements cannot substitute for formal processes. MSF continue to play publicity games instead of complying with the registration process. The continued withholding of basic staff information raises serious questions on the involvement of MSF staff with Hamas. Interestingly, on the same day that MSF announced they will not be sharing the lists of local employees after all, Hamas released a statement calling for organizations to not share local employee information lists. Coincidence? Israel remains committed to facilitating humanitarian activity in Gaza through approved humanitarian organizations, in order to prevent the abuse of humanitarian frameworks by terrorist organizations.

Today is Jewish Refugees Day. We remember 850,000 Jews forced out of Arab states and Iran in the 20th century. Communities 2,500 years old were destroyed. At the United Nations, I asked Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, and the others: “Where are your Jews?” Still waiting for an answer.
