@bitcoindudebro I just got the same, literally set it up and never used it 😆 think it's cos they're ceasing operations in the UK next month so prob closing unused accounts now
@DCinvestor What do you think all the vaccines were for, and the coming ai swarm wars, only 10-15% of people will be left, not much different from civilizational collapse so choose your poison
there's a tail scenario
where mass AI-driven displacement of the workforce leads to a collapse of civilization
due to a possible economic failure of the workforce to keep doing work, and critical knowledge being lost by humans of global systems which are so complex basically no on fully understands them
without suitable replacement by robots with on-going systems and incentives to maintain them
if you want an illustrative example, look at the fall of the Roman empire and how many things civilization "forgot" how to do because there was no longer an economic system which allowed them to keep doing it and train subsequent generations in doing them
it can happen in one or two generations
but i don't think people are ready to talk about these kinds of things yet, so i'll just leave it here for now
@bridgemindai Yeah but I love having to reburn 3 million tokens cos it lied to me about doing half the work so it could confirm with @AnthropicAI prompt about context windows
I had a 4.5 hour vibe coding session today
Claude Opus 4.6 was failing to complete a lot of tasks
GPT 5.3 Codex was one shotting the tasks that Claude Opus 4.6 failed at
Take note of this
I use cursor as my terminal but I’ve been lifting heavier on Claude code and codex to keep my max plans busy
Idk I don’t really do anything else right now but talk to these machines 🤷♂️
It’s not healthy but feels like the last time to enjoy this weird transition period
I’m not even gonna pretend this isn’t a bit mentally ill
Cowork is now available on Windows.
We’re bringing full feature parity with MacOS: file access, multi-step task execution, plugins, and MCP connectors.
@claudeai Well well well @OpenAI it seems that Claude code is better than codex when it comes to shipping in windows ... chatgpt atlas and codex app still coming soon ?
@AnthropicAI@claudeai if you're going to take the piss on pricing could we at least have the full context window, 12.5% is taken up by your prompts before we even get started. 200k context limit not 175k.
@TheAhmadOsman Literally just woke up and came to this conclusion, I left openai 2 years ago when that became a joke, but the pendulum has swung, can't keep facilitating the money grabbing service degradation, Sama got more to lose right now, will get a better service over there
what do people use Opus for nowadays?
Kimi, GLM, and MiniMax are overall a better, cheaper, and faster models
Codex is more intelligent as well
why would anyone pay Anthropic for a Claude subscription that gets nerfed?
@milesdeutscher 50% of the cost? I had it running for 14 hours straight yesterday, it is definitely not on par with 4.5 not even close n the cost is literally a joke, I've gone from running 4 terminals and using 10% of my weekly a day to 1 terminal and 35% of my weekly a day @AnthropicAI
Ok - this is why you should never trust AI benchmarks.
A recent study compared Opus 4.6 (the latest Claude model) versus Opus 4.5 across 165 different tasks.
The deep research concluded Opus 4.6 did no better than the previous model.
But Opus 4.6 did this with 50% of the cost and 50% of the wall time.
Still massive improvements, just be wary of benchmark headlines.
The best way to determine whether a model is better than previous iterations is to test it for your specific needs.
Anyways, well done to the Anthropic team for this massive cost/wall time reduction.
@claudeai I don't understand the need for this. Isn't it already fast enough? Days of work in a few hours, months of work in a week or less. The compute used here could be better spent training a stronger model.
Our teams have been building with a 2.5x-faster version of Claude Opus 4.6.
We’re now making it available as an early experiment via Claude Code and our API.
@claudeai Is there any chance we could actually get what we pay for, I bought the max plan cos I thought there's no way I'll ever hit the limits, I'm literally running less terminals and hitting limits faster, do you think we don't notice the scam? This is how sama wins 🤣🤣
@Sosowski Get a grip, books will become valuable, but right now I got 5 bags of books I gotta take to the tip cos I can't even give them away for free to a second hand bookshop or charity shop, no one wants them
come Sail away, where is Michael Saylor and his acolytes, Bitcoin needs to use this $77,000 launching pad to get to $83,000 at least by Feb 7. Does he have any dry powder? Where are all the usual gang of crypto supporters.. Egads! MISTER
