Jordan Love has a skillset that’s difficult to find outside of R1, They weren’t sure when they’d have a chance to select that again.
That *logic* applied to the Rams selection, a lot of us just don’t agree that Ty Simpson possesses that skillset

We talked about this on the show today a bit. The perfect parallel is when GB drafted Jordan Love. They could have had Tee Higgins. That year, they lost by 5 in the NFCCG when Davante Adams had 15 targets and the next GB WR had 6. Higgins had ~900 yards as a rookie. Would he have been the difference? Not sure, but you can't definitively say no. That's basically the debate each team had. Does this WR get us another ring while our old QB is still going vs will the QB secure the next decade after transition? I think arguing either side is reasonable.

When I say football isn’t a high skilled sport this is exactly what I mean. Dude has never played football before and got drafted. You have to be extremely athletic and strong but nobody is drafting someone in the NBA who has never played basketball before. Too much skill in 🏀

Out of 656 mock drafts: Nick Emmanwori: 130 selections Malaki Starks: 95 selections This year, out of 584 mock drafts: Dillon Thieneman: 238 selections Emmanuel McNeil-Warren: 61 selections Are we sure they aren't wrong again?

Eagles connected with the Vikings on a trade, but they probably didn’t feel confident Banks makes it past the Chargers
