My in-laws gifted us a couple retro games. One of which is a game my husband played as a child. The other looks to be a chess inspired game. Look forward to giving them a try!

@cardboardwolf Yeah this was less for me about preferred cards to play with and more about reducing the number of cards to be stored and getting the game in one box

@futurewolfie Interesting that you remove whole sets. I occasionally just cull single kingdom cards that don’t work for me

@JenLRossman when we watched, we watched the first like 5-6 episodes, then a bit later started from the beginning again. Helped my wife a lot (I had already read the books so it was less confusing for me)

The expanse would be a little easier to follow if it had pop-up video style things that say "this is what OPA stands for" and "yes you are supposed to recognize this lady from earlier"

@BrainClouds YES you have to wade through a bit of overwritten dialogue, but the gameplay is stellar, the story is fun, the hero powers are a blast, the tactical battles are interesting and challenging in a fun way

got distracted from work cuz some kind of hawk was screeching from the trees in my neighbor's yard and honestly I love the neighborhood i live in. So many birds making a ruckus all the time. Last year there was a screech owl, I hope he's still around this year.
