Lagi banyak kontroversi tentang topik ini tapi gue rasa pada missing the point of pembasuhan kaki: Yesus membasuh kaki para murid sebagai teladan bagi mereka (dan kita) untuk merendahkan hati, justru karena itu apa yang Paus Fransiskus lakukan ngena banget.

I had a good talk with the priest regarding the washing of women's feet on Maundy Thursday and he said that it's not a gender issue, but a humanity one. Women are still viewed as a second class because we haven't viewed our fellow humans as equal in dignity and rights.

@Jeremyakee If given by an ordained person, then yes. If given by extraordinary minister, then i receive by hand.
I don't value the Host less when given by non-ordained, but I choose to receive on tounge specificly to honor the Sacrament of Holy Orders instituted by Christ.

@dukeofmalang Setuju. Seharusnya praktik tersebut dibiasakan. Karena duduk di saat Passio pun adalah karena terlalu terbiasa, padahal tidak sesuai dengan GIRM dan PPP.
Baiknya mulai dibikin perlahan, "bagi umat yang tidak sakit, mohon untuk berdiri"
