I assume you have not read the bible while sitting in peace. Bible talks about Jacob's sons. Jacob was named Israel. His lineage is known is sons of Israel, in other words Isralites. When Jesus arrived, the invitation to God's party extended beyond his son. The book of revealations does not mention any country or person by name. Its open to interpretation, it could be talking about a nation, a person or something completely different.

I’ve finally decided to read the entire bible. So far, I’ve read Genesis and Exodus. I’m obviously really interested in reading the Gospels and New Testament. I’m debating skipping ahead to the Gospels. What do you recommend I do: Read the bible from front to back or skip ahead and read the Gospels (or entire New Testament) and then go back to the Old Testament.
