I picked up this small screw in my tire. Pulled it out, assuming I would have a puncture, but I don't. It was short enough not to penetrate anything. But now I have no idea how much "margin" I have at the bottom of that hole. I wouldn't be a blowout if it failed, but... Now what? Can I pack the hole with rubber cement? New tire? Somewhere in between?

@ggreenwald There is no “list” of platforms in the proposal, there are features and if a platform has them, then it falls within the ban. What the PR and minister interviews say is irrelevant it’s what gets voted on in the houses that makes the law

@BriefcaseMike You have no control to where the vpn tunnel exits, often its the same country, also likely the control will require all users in a country (as determined via GPS) to prove they are adults.

The browser I use - Firefox - has a free built-in VPN. Takes just seconds to switch it on. There you are kids. Sorted.

@JuddLegum Yes you are dim. Read the prospectus and you will see that there are 3 businesses that make up SpaceX, one of which is massively profitable generates massive amounts of case, another that is also profitable and one that is start-up phase that always burns cash for a while.

I guess I'm just dim but I really don't understand who is buying SpaceX at $160 per share. This is a company that is losing billions of dollars a quarter and the profits are supposed to come when we colonize Mars and launch data centers in space?

@ncbscotts @LBC They have power over the UK subsidiaries of those US firms and of the ability for those devices to be sold in the UK, and if they wanted could force UK phone networks to blacklist any device from a US company that does not comply.

@RickTrembl35994 @enbridgethe3rd Yep, any car with a stop/start function will need the battery coding. The smart alternator used with stop/start needs to be told to relearn the charging levels of a new one

@enbridgethe3rd Since replacing a battery also includes resetting the computers on the car, explain how you do that?

@mrs_alyse Bull shit. On newer houses they will have a part open mode by default to stop toddlers and kids falling out, but the catch can simply be lifted to open. Some rented properties or commercial may have the part open mode fixed to avoid liability.

The Brits actually have laws keeping people from fully opening their windows. A new level of ridiculous. They aren't allowed to open their own windows.

@NipseyHoussle Typical American stating an observation about a few countries and claiming All of Europe. UK, view a house or test drive a car is very much the weekend including Sunday. Same in Germany, Netherlands, Denmark and so many more

Interesting thing about being an American in Europe: Europeans don’t work weekends. Ever. You might think, well, nobody works weekends. But in the US there are whole industries built around it. Real estate agents. Car dealerships. Saturday and Sunday are the business. Not here. If you want to see a house or test drive a car, you take time off work to do it. Somehow this is normal. I don’t know how they pull it off. But they do.

Apart from home assistant what other options are there to control the GivEnergy battery? The apps poor and it's now £4.99 per month for a rubbish app! You can get the rubbish app for free IF you sign up to Axel which they must i guess a get kickback for each sign up!! Axel did have a referral scheme and now it's suspended with Giv. My guess is because they are now getting the wonga for your sign up!!!!!!!! The apps more confusing and it's clunky!! The quick functions i used a lot i can't find. Utterly dreadful.

I am not impressed with the Giv offering! £4.99 please TODAY for cloud access and here's the app, it's worse than the one you are used to. How's that for you madam?
