The hotels made it too easy to not checkout. They don’t even know the game they have created. They could have rooms being flipped 3 hours earlier.

yeah and the heats weren't going up properly yesterday i noticed around 530 so i called my maintenance guy to come in early to replace a thermocouple - i came from finance and had no idea what a thermocouple was 3 years ago...now it's my first guess when this issue comes up in the morning with the extruders

Seller to me in 2022: “Yes if you need to operate remotely it’s easy. I’m sure it can be done from Kansas if need be.” Other buyside guys: “You should automate the factory open in the morning. Just put everything on timers. Seems obvious and easy.” This is me walking into factory at 420am today in May 2026 after doing to start up every morning since October 2022 (missed zero days). Every one of my employees has missed weeks of work due to illness or personal appointments. I’ve missed zero. Timers huh? This is what paying off almost $1mm of debt in 3 years and making a 40 pct after tax return on a 7 figure equity check looks like. While I go out every 20 minutes to turn up the heats, I’m responding to customer emails and setting up freight for the day. 90 pct leverage and hire a GM? Note that 100 pct of closed searchers doing 90 pct leverage have told me they would never recommend it. Ever

In return for holding price, I need to accept delivery of all the resin in May. The two bins in my factory can only hold 100k pounds at a time which means we need to either use gaylords or big bags to hold the excess inventory. Will be a pain in the you know what but to save close to 6 figures, it's worth it.

On Friday my resin distributor said that given supply chain issues they may not be able to honor a purchase order for 250k pounds of resin in early March (mix of railcar and bulk trucks) in that pricing may need to be significantly higher. As an adult man with 2 decades of work in both Wall Street and now business ownership, I have built scar tissue to handle what would be close to a six figure higher cost than what was agreed. One must negotiate calmly and with confidence right? How did I handle it? Extreme Korean rage. Loud noises. Many nasty emails. Nasty texts. More loud noises. Calls over the weekend. Threats to never do business with them again. More loud noises. Today they agreed to honor the purchase order from early March. What did I learn? I don’t know but being told that a purchase order from early March may cost close to 6 figures more is not how I like to update my 13 week cash flow model.

@TreydingStocks @Tekeee You can afford a slightly nicer car, to take more vacations, stay in nicer hotels, upgrade to first class, eat out at nice restaurants more often. It makes a difference but the law of diminishing returns is kicking above about $120-150k per year.
