An elderly Brahmin man consumed poison on camera in Agra after facing continuous harassment under the SC/ST Act.
He had been booked in multiple cases under the Act.
His land was reportedly being used for last rites by others, and he was living in isolation in a jungle-like area, unable to access basic medical care.
