Yes ...and no. Heslop ( 1892) has them as wilks, willoKs,wullocks,wulks and penny wilks. He (and the OED) have willoCKs as guillemots ! ( Also wullemot, lavy and scoot!) So it's all a question of the letter "c"...but to be honest, you'd spell it that way now.
