It looks like, but there’s a very pale rosé wine #inmyglass . If you are around the village of Lieser in the picturesque Mosel valley, where Schloss Lieser winery produces delightful TBA wines, head south (and just a little west). You are about 1000 km away😉

@gallois_c In our area (Ábalos, Samaniego) you can go up to about 660m. Any further north and the mountains get too steep to plant. In other parts of #Rioja I think they can go a touch higher, 650-700ish. Recently-planted Finca Carbonera is 875m, looking for freshness in whites.

@ADHalliwell In Montreal almost all sports bars are fully dedicated to the @CanadiensMTL 😂 . Otherwise when it comes to football, I guess it’s similar to British culture. Fans groups choose a pub as an HQ

@gallois_c I'm sure you're right. It's not like they were all over the city or anything, just where they were, they were very visible. I don't know if they have this system in Canada....bars dedicated to a single sports team?

Enjoyable night out in #Logroño. Lots of great wines at #Roots, as per usual, including several blind. Yummo tacos at #BarrioBar, back to basics at #BarSoriano and lots of Athletic Club (Bilbao) fans in evidence, as they just beat Mallorca in the Copa del Rey (FA Cup).

Bright red rubycolor
Very expressive. Complex aromas of blueberry, raspberry n blackcurrant, with hints of eucalyptus, pencil lead n tobacco. On the palate the aromas continue to swirl. The tannins are present but supple and restrained. Long and tasty finish
