One of the wildest things to watch is how people normalize absolute chaos in the U.S., the mass exodus of scientists from academia, rampant health misinformation, gutting of safety-net programs and public health programs, and blatant violations of basic human rights and shrug it off like, “It’s not a big deal.” What they really mean is: it’s not a big deal because it doesn’t affect me or my loved ones… yet. History shows that “yet” is doing a lot of work. 😬
