It's kinda an obvious observation "level up and get stronger and you can explore areas you couldn't before!" but with the way the world is structured and with just so much to do, coming to this realization in real time made me really appreciate the game's sense of progression

The last time I was through here I was 15 levels lower and didn't have my skell. I didn't collect any of this because I was running for my life and hiding from all of the indigens! Now with my squad fully skelled-up I'm just stomping through like no big deal

Xenoblade X has become the game I just can't put down. It's sooooooo good and the sense of scale is amazing. I found myself thinking "why didn't I collect all of this wreckage / white whale debris / etc last time I was in this part of primordia?" and then it hit me.

Xenoblade chronicles update: 30 hours in and I'm still being surprised. This is truly one of the greatest stories I've ever experienced. Also the name Yaldabaoth is so FREAKING cool. I love this group of characters so much. God there's so much to say.

I have experienced this first hand.

Flat Earthers love demanding “proof of the globe without CGI” like they’ve discovered some unbeatable challenge, but everyone already knows how this goes. It does not matter what anyone shows them. If it is a photo, they scream fake. If it is a video, they scream edited. If it is data, they scream fabricated. If it is an experiment they can do themselves, they suddenly pretend they never asked. You can prove the Earth is a globe without a single image. Circumnavigation does it. Time zones do it. Seasons do it. The way the sky changes as you move does it. The way ships disappear bottom first does it. Long distance flights do it. None of that requires a camera or a pixel. But none of it will ever land with a Flat Earther. They are not looking for evidence. They are looking for something they can immediately dismiss so they can feel like they “won.” You could hand them raw measurements, live observations, or physics they can test in their backyard, and they will still yell “CGI” because that is the only move they have left. When someone decides ahead of time that everything is fake unless it agrees with them, you could put the Earth in their hands and they would still call it edited.

One thing smite has my highest praise for is the vgs system. Best communication tool in like any game I've played. I can't belive other games don't copy it

@Shiv8270 @sabatonfan69 They can be but I roll with it, to me the warrens and magic are the most confusing, but get ms more clear as you push through especially as you figure out which races are specifically attuned to which types of warrens (and why). I think book 4 helps a lot with this.

@gamersarentcool @sabatonfan69 Yes that was by far my favorite part my friend that recommended the series to me also said it was the best part of what he read (I think he read 5 or 6 of them) it was up there with the best of asoiaf for me. However the books are so confusing sometimes 😭

@Shiv8270 @sabatonfan69 Book two rocked! Duiker was a great character and the frustration and anger I felt towards pormqual and the treatment of coltaine and the chain of dogs will live on in my head forever. So damn tragic, Aren was right there!!!

@sabatonfan69 I will do that! Tehol and Bugg are favorites of mine right now. Karsa is also just a super cool character and I loved following alongside him in house of chains. His brief interaction w icarium and mappo was awesome
