Jeez there so many cynics! It cracks me up when I hear people call AI underwhelming. I grew up playing Snake on a Nokia phone! The fact that people are unimpressed that we can have a fluent conversation with a super smart AI that can generate any image/video is mindblowing to me.

@mitsuhiko It isn't though. Metal scaffolds are reusable and often the heights can be adjusted. Bamboo scaffolds are one-time-use. They are still here in Bangladesh because they are cheaper. However, metal scaffolds in general are better.

Bamboo scaffolding is great. Sad to see it being phased out.

My son eventually got an NHS psychiatrist appointment in July after struggling to get one for 2 years. He admitted he was calmly considering suicide within 12 months. Got a letter summarising the meeting and wished him luck,no more appointments needed. Took his life 6 weeks later

I know it not convenient to have so many of our young people struggling with their mental health. My son James took his own life recently after a 4 year battle with his MH. He worked without any benefits. NHS services totally inadequate, never diagnosed how serious he was 🧵 1/2

Here is the latest: Israel is now in violation of their signature on the Ceasefire Agreement they signed by refusing to move, as they had committed to do, to the 2nd Phase - the withdraw of the IDF from Gaza - and, in the process, are working toward the return of war by denying the Palestinians a basic human right (electricity) of a people caught in a territory that, according to International Law, Israel is fully responsible. And the shameless media portrays this as "putting pressure on Hamas". When Putin cuts off Ukraine's electricity to civilians, the same media do not talk of Russia "putting pressure" - they lambast Putin for committing a war crime.
