Chainsaw man was never about Denji chasing his dreams, but the hollowness of achieving them and realizing that they can't replace the simple joys of life like family and friendship. To me, that panel of him dropping the chainsaw to save Asa represents the pinnacle of his journey

liking today's csm chapter but acknowledging its flaws has made the slander posts both funny as hell and painful as hell too

I like the themes and such of Chainsaw Man’s ending even if I do agree it was jarring and unsatisfying. However I don’t know how else that particular ending could have been executed and it’s clear he had it in mind for a while so I’ve decided to uphold the Fujimoto agenda instead
