hot take: every single large crypto app will have its own chain capture your own mev + sequencer revenue instead of leaking it to L1, customize the fee token and gas economics, own your upgrade path the ones that don't are just leaving money on the table

More and more accounts are posting that they want clarity on the Polymarket airdrop
Personally I think everyone posting this should be excluded from the airdrop instead, because the project should reward real users who came here to actually use the platform, not farm the drop
I completely understand people who publicly talk about platform problems and other real issues. But if you’re publicly asking Polymarket to say when the drop is coming you’re just wasting everyone’s time and don’t deserve it at all
The fact that you think the drop is delayed is your problem. To do this successfully, they need to solve a lot of things while you’re only making it harder with your speculations

Unpopular opinion: the official account deleting a tweet isn’t a big deal.
The other teasers for $POLY are still right there. It’s too early for pessimism.
A teaser posted on the official account could be risky, so the deletion was likely to avoid that risk.

I think Polymarket realized lower fees alone won't pull users away from the competition. If it were, their market share would've started catching up by now (I'd still argue UX deserves some of the blame though).
Regardless, higher fees are bullish for $POLY.

Despite all the pessimism and frustration, I still believe we’ll see $POLY sooner rather than later.
This isn’t just blind optimism or naive faith. They pivoted sharply into silence right after some heavy teasing.
If the teasing had been about farming, they would’ve teased even harder right now — during the World Cup.
In that sense, that wasn’t their intention behind the teasing. And one of the best companies in Web3 has no reason to pull something like that.
In reality, plenty of projects go quiet right before a token launch, and that drives a lot of users into pessimism.
I think Polymarket is simply walking a similar path.
We just have to trust and wait.
I still believe in them and trust them.
