Investigators uncovered a text Celeste Rivas sent to D4vd protesting their sexual relationship. They also found photos of Celeste naked in his phone, and engaged in sexual activity when she was 13. “All we do is have sex and just hang out man I want more than that for myself.”

You do not get to blame the victim, and you do not get to blame a child.Legally, all children are to be placed under the care of a guardian (parents, foster families, adults etc) because a child is not deemed able to make decisions for themselves appropriately.

D4vd went on Amazon and purchased a couple of chainsaws after he stabbed Celeste Rivas and stood by while she bled out, according to prosecutors. Prosecutors allege he ordered her an Uber to his home, then stabbed her multiple times. He put her body in an inflatable pool in his garage to catch the blood, then dismembered her with a chainsaw. He bought the pool under a fake name—plastic fragments from it were later matched to her remains. He then texted and called her phone after she was already dead to fake an alibi. Her remains were found in two bags in the trunk of his abandoned Tesla in the Hollywood Hills, one day after what would have been her 15th birthday. The alleged motive was that she threatened to expose their relationship and destroy his career the night before. He dropped his debut album Withered two days later. Prosecutors also say the ~40TB of evidence includes child pornography found on his phone. He faces life without parole or the death penalty.

Judge Olmedo specified that the protective order means D4vd can’t keep a copy of any discovery information in his jail cell - no photos, no documents, not anything. If his lawyers believe he needs a copy of something, they have to get Judge Olmedo’s permission to give it to him.

@boxingwithjay Were you there today then? I know from the reports from last week they said he looked bored. Problem with being a fantasist is that it's hard to play those out in prison.

@SF_investigates So, they aren't filing for access to warrants, but they want #D4vd to have a nice suit and hair cut? I think defence are dragging their ass because there is so much evidence. However, it makes them look incapable of following procedures. But at least D4vd will have neat hair.

Although #D4vd’s legal team has not filed a motion to unseal the search warrants, they did file two motions they considered important. First, they requested that David Anthony Burke be allowed to wear civilian clothing for the preliminary hearing instead of a jail-issued jumpsuit; that motion was denied. Second, they requested that he be allowed to receive a haircut prior to the preliminary hearing; that motion was granted. #CelesteRivasHernandez
