It’s almost like the Government want this protest to escalate across the whole country. One of the (many) reasons why Ireland is now at crisis point is people like Eamon Ryan were left in charge of key energy policy. Ryan refused leases for the Barryroe oil & gas field in 2023. Now we depend on imports for 82% of our gas and 100% oil. We can't go on like this.
