@selentelechia Remember that gravy is a roux. Oddly enough, making gumbo will teach you a lot about making biscuits and gravy. Quality of the fat you used matters (mmm, duck gravy) and low and slow is the best way. Bacon fat works, but using the same pan after cooking bacon can be too hot.
