I wouldn’t fix anything myself. A freak accident of nature caused a stick to puncture a coolant line which caused the pump to fail, cause the fucking thing won’t shut off with no coolant, but still less than 900 bucks. I can’t imagine what @BMW would charge it to replace a coolant line and a cooling pump. $900 wouldn’t cover the shop time.

The @Tesla Model Y may be a victim of its own success. The more people I talk to say it’s a grea cart, but don’t want one because there are so many of them & they see it as boring. It’s sadly becoming a generic car to a lot of folks without much passion. 🚙

@garydfaulkner @Tesla Sometimes it does it even does that well, but not perfect & apparently not compelling enough for even Tesla’s own customers to fund value in this the reason less than 10% bought it subscribe to FSD. Outside of X no one cares.

@Rockternal @wmorrill3 In my Model Y if you leave your phone on the charger the car doesn't lock when you exit and walk away.

A work mode that can leave the truck unlocked while we are in and out all day. Every time we walk away after grabbing a tool or supplies its cycles the computer and locks. Frustrating having to lock/unlock every 20 min especially for coworkers that dont have key access. A worksite/beach boombox mode that doesn’t shut off when your 20 feet away and roll up the windows. Just let it play loud with the windows down until you tell it to stop!
