Thoughts: 1. Same thought every day but all Brandon Nimmo does is get on base. We won the trade. 2. Pederson a double and some hard fouls tonight. Yeah yeah I know. Idc, baby steps, he’s coming around. 3. Jacob Junis as closer? He’s our best reliever right now imo. Didn’t see him as closer option really but if it works. 4. Offense still really bad overall so lucky to get out with a win. But a win is a win. 5. Nice to see a catcher throw a runner out. Haven’t seen that in a while! 6. deGrom looked awesome other than his obligatory solo shot. 7. Bullpen did its job in a close game having to get through 4 innings.
