S27 Ultra with SPen and S27 Pro without SPen, very nice move 👏
Ice Universe@UniverseIce

BREAKING! Samsung Galaxy S27 series will introduce a new “Pro” model — essentially an Ultra without the S Pen. That means the lineup will expand to four models: Galaxy S27, S27+, S27 Pro, and S27 Ultra. Samsung Electronics plans to add a new high-end model to the Galaxy S27 series next year, strengthening its flagship smartphone lineup. This move aims to broaden consumer choice while responding to Apple’s four-model strategy. According to industry sources on April 6, Samsung’s Mobile eXperience (MX) division has decided to introduce a “Pro” model to the Galaxy S27 series, expanding the lineup from three to four models. Since the Galaxy S20 series in 2020, Samsung has maintained a three-tier flagship structure: standard, Plus, and Ultra. This will now evolve into a four-tier lineup: standard, Plus, Pro, and Ultra. An industry insider familiar with the matter said, “Previously, Ultra was the only high-end model. Now Samsung plans to add a Pro, expanding the premium segment to two models. Specific details like display size are not finalized yet, but the general direction is clear: a high-end model without the S Pen, while sharing most of the Ultra’s technologies.” Another source added, “The ‘privacy display’ feature that generated strong reactions on the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to expand to two models in the next generation, and the newly added model will likely include it.” The last time Samsung added a new model to the Galaxy S lineup was two years ago, when it introduced the Galaxy S25 Edge, emphasizing a thinner design. It was launched two months after the S25 series. Originally, the Edge was intended to replace the Plus model starting from the S26 series. However, due to market feedback, Samsung canceled that plan and returned to developing and releasing the Plus model. This time, the Galaxy S27 Pro is not a replacement, but an expansion of the lineup. Industry observers believe Samsung is aiming to strengthen its position by enhancing the competitiveness of its high-end models while offering more choices. The Pro model is expected to feature technologies that differentiate it from the standard and Plus variants. For example, the Galaxy S26 Ultra introduced features such as the privacy display and a 200MP camera, which were not available on the standard or Plus models. Some analysts also interpret this move as a response to Apple’s four-model strategy. Apple currently structures its lineup with standard models (including the base and Air) and premium models (Pro and Pro Max), while Samsung has so far maintained only a single Ultra model at the high end.

S25 Ultra vs S26 Ultra | 3x lens Want to see if the 3x actually improved? We all know Expert RAW usually gives the best 3x output, so let's test it. Both shots: point-and-shoot, spot metering, JPEG output. Expert RAW on the S25 Ultra not updated to the latest version, keeping it at its peak baseline for a fair comparison. Here we go. 📸 First impressions only more tests coming.

This is the Motorola Edge 70 fusion smartphone, that I have been testing for frw days, its launching on 6th March. If Motorola can get the pricing right this can be a great mid-ranger in the Indian market.

@silenceatslip Not exactly ads in the edge series but some extra apps are coming now installed. I haven't tested the G series in the last couple of years so no idea about that, as the G series now in Moto is considered their budget series.

Holy shit. The guy who BUILT Claude Code just shared his actual workflow. Boris Cherny runs 10-15 Claude sessions in parallel every single day. While you're prompting one AI, he has 5 in his terminal + 5-10 on the web all shipping code simultaneously. And the real weapon? His CLAUDE.md file. Every time Claude makes a mistake, the team adds a rule so it NEVER happens again. Boris literally said: "After every correction, end with: Update your CLAUDE.md so you don't make that mistake again." Claude writes rules for itself. The longer you use it, the smarter it gets on YOUR codebase. His other insane detail: he hasn't written a single line of SQL in 6+ months. Claude just pulls BigQuery data directly via CLI. Claude Code now accounts for 4% of ALL public GitHub commits. Engineers who haven't set this up yet are already behind. This CLAUDE.md template is the difference between using AI as a chatbot vs using it as a fleet of senior engineers. Drop it in any project. Free.

Sensor specs: loud. Real photos: quiet. Brag about Chinese camera sensors all day… But when someone actually buys one and shares a great photo? Silence. People show up for comparisons only to defend or attack multi-billion-dollar brands. Wasn't the whole point of comparison to find the better camera, then use it? 🤔 If comparisons and reviews don't help you shoot better, it's not photography… it's brand fighting. Which means free marketing 🎯
