@ProRoyalFamily You're going to love it! One of my favourites! I've re-read it several times! It's by Grace E Moremen, difficult to find, and sadly very expensive when you do. It is a normal biography, but written in small quantities for libraries and universities for some reason!

That is a completely separate title from King of the UK and the title of head of the commonwealth. It can be confusing, but he is independently King of 14 countries. Like Australia and Jamaica.

From the outside, with his head on Canadian currency, & a sense of affiliation from citizens, & this visit, there is a relationship via which he is defending in his capacity. @AnneMarieFlynn2 @Acyn @MeidasTouch Problem is, this is not the British royalty. This is the Canadian royalty. He is not their as King of the UK, but as King of Canada. His Canadian prime minster advised him to stand up for Canada so he did. The UK prime minister has asked him to be conciliatory.

@Possessedtv @UKForcesTracker I will say as someone part of the RFA, thats an extremely grey area. We arnt officially civilians as we are members of the RN reserves, but were not full armed forces either. But our ships are fitted out as RN ships are, and we often have blended crews of RN and RFA.

@UKForcesTracker Just a quick reminder, the littoral ships aren't actually part of the Royal Navy. They're government owned vessels not used for commercial purposes. Based on the registration under the MNSA they cannot be RN vessels.

@HelenSh98863282 @BabsRambow @scobie That is wrong. Queen/Kings Mother is the title for the mother of a monarch, Queen Dowager is the title for a widowed Queen. Hence why Queen Adelaide was called HM The Queen Dowager. Same as Queen Catherine of Braganza.

Moving forward, The Times of London are dropping the "Consort" from Camilla's title and will refer to her as Queen Camilla or The Queen. Curious to know if people want to see other outlets do the same?

Many will be pleased to know that The Times’ writers have been instructed to drop the term the Queen Consort. Whatever clarifying use it had during the mourning period has expired. Queen Camilla is now to be referred to as such or, if there is no risk of confusion, as The Queen.
