I wouldn’t mind seeing Kyle Manzardo shipped elsewhere at the deadline. He’s an extremely inconsistent hitter who puts up some of the least competitive at bats I’ve ever seen but sometimes hits moonshots. Also an average defender at first base. Change of scenery candidate.

A much needed break for Hoskins. He’s played every game since June 8th and his numbers have tanked in that time. I’m not sure how long he’s with the club, but I do know they needed to give him a breather.

@BelowAverageOPS @cpfarrell20 IMO he’s gonna be like angel offensively (inconsistent but very good when on) but with better defense and better on the bags. But anyways he needs to play every day.

Kahlil Watson has been the lone bright spot offensively this embarrassing series and could salvage this series single handedly. What a week for him.

@CovertheCorner I feel like they are literally just preparing both of them defensively I expect one or both to be called up in the next two weeks. (That’s still before angel and José get back)

@FranmilsEyebrow I will say this even if one or both of Martinez and CDL go on the IL maybe for 10-15 days it sucks but atleast we get to see guys like ingle, Watson and genoa maybe.

This Jose Ramirez hamate news is devastating. But, I don’t think this is the end of the season. Things like this can galvanize a team, and as long as they stay afloat until he comes back, they have a chance. Time for the boys to step up.

@gavin80418180 Depends If we are in a tight division race, can’t be limping for 2 months to October. If we are comfy with Slade/LTA plus a cushion? Improve the ‘Pen for the Playoffs We have more depth in the ‘pen. So health/performance of the SPs will matter most in deciding what we do

Hmmm I’m interested. Guards have no depth at SP and he’s under control for a few seasons. Get him in the Willis school of Pitching and we could see a rebound. Curious what his option situation is, that would determine how much I’d give up
