Wild one in Kalida nearing midnight. Bath explodes for 6 runs in the top of the 2nd with help from walks, errors, and key hits by Green, Markley & Rope. But Leis shuts it down. Strikeout looking to end the inning and leave ‘em stranded. Bath leads Kalida 8-5.

Kalida takes the lead over Bath and the crowds are still going wild at 2am!! It’s now 15-13 in the bottom of the 6th. One out. Bases loaded.

It’s 2am. This game was supposed to start at 7:30. First pitch? 10:30. We’ve had fireworks. We’ve had a rainbow. We’ve had 30 runs and counting. Kalida leads Bath 17–13, top of the 7th. Two outs. The media’s still here. We’re too far in to leave now.

FINAL: Kalida 17, Bath 16 Four hours. 33 runs. A rainbow, fireworks, and a finish at 2:30am. Kalida survives the madness and slaps their name on the bracket. Player of the Game: Josh Schulte in one of the wildest ACME games we’ve ever seen.
