Yes, the United States has the most progressive tax system in the world. The top 1% pay 40% of taxes, the bottom 50% pay 3% of taxes. We can make it even more progressive by zeroing out taxes on the bottom half. It’s a small amount of the total tax revenue but very meaningful to people in this group.

Mulholland Drive is a very straightforward film. Once the major mid-movie plot twist kicks in everything that had seemed slightly weird and off-kilter makes perfect sense. The whole "OMG nobody could possibly understand this movie" thing at the time was very silly.
It's the same with Blue Velvet and Wild At Heart. Once you figure out what Lynch is up to everything falls into place.
