@braintree_ Kind of mine too (I mean, am torn between Fiorentina and Inter as the two clubs I've won titles with on Football Manager...)

@Phillyconcarne As much as anything, when he came in I don't recall him being identified for that role and there's clearly still a level of reluctance to use him that way, despite as you say the talent and the physical skills being obvious

Absolutely crazy take. He’s just not been good enough to start 10 league games for us ahead of Mateta, Nketiah or Strand Larsen. I actually really like him as a player and wouldn’t mind us getting him permanently because there’s a player there, but it’s clear why he’s behind them. That’s why these clauses are there. If he’s not good enough we don’t buy him, both clubs agreed to that.

@laligaandbeyond Another case of Palace being really difficult to work with regarding transfers. Agents will start looking elsewhere eventually

@henryswainjourn The promises bit is the fascinating one, got mentioned with Glasner as well and yet "Parish pledges to spend early, spend often" is easily in the Top 10 least credible things ever said by any human being

@TalkCPFC Ambition is money. And not just this year, it's wages for years to come. I can understand why people just want the owners to turn the taps on from their own pockets, but we have no right to expect that and there are real dangers in doing so.

@HLTCO Yup, that's the nail on the coffin moment I think, if he literally will not use the players we do have even when there's no other choice...

This is one of my major gripes with Glasner’s post match comments. He said he looked at the bench and saw no one worth bringing on. That’s terrible man management. Uche is there, he’s come from La Liga, he’s recalled Imray this week, is he saying he’s shite?
Adam Guest@adamguestsafc

@HLTCO As a Sunderland fan in peace, I was surprised that both he and the players seemed to give up in the second half? No subs at all used? Was Uche not worth a try?

@TalkCPFC Have said before the only way he was going to play the younger guys was if he was effing well made to, and he's managed to out-stubborn even that. Regrettably, needs to go before the players who are there get even more damaged by him

@ReubenPinder Even more fundamental I'd say, it's not that we don't have the ball because other teams are better and stop us, we don't have the ball because we don't want the ball, it terrifies us (and this has been true for yonks, think about the spell after Punch scored in the 2016 final)

We really don’t know how to play as favourites. Regardless of key players being absent, it’s a glaring weakness of Glasner’s. And as I write this, we concede a second. Good bye.

@TalkCPFC To be fair, having a bad first touch is the single most consistent feature of every Palace team since we got back to the top flight

@TalkCPFC And now we wait to see if the only truly reliable method of getting managers to give game time to Palace academy players, what the experts technically describe as "F*****g well making them" comes up trumps again

@henryswainjourn Am quite nostalgic though as it was the quintessential bad Palace performance, grabbing every possible opportunity to give the ball away, no first touch left unpunted

It speaks volumes about what Glasner has done that this is the first time in ages i’ve been actually angry at a Palace performance. But almost all of them were far off the standard they’ve set for themselves. Pathetic performance. #cpfc

@TalkCPFC Feels at though OG's answer to the fixture congestion is to literally tell them to play at half speed in the Conference, which is fine until a team spends 90 minutes running at you

Why do I feel Liverpool will have a word with themselves just before Palace play them on Wednesday.

@HLTCO The algorithm thinks I'm a Hammer not a Glazier purely because of the number of news stories that use the phrase "[Palace/WHam] are looking to beat [WHam/Palace] to the signing of..."

@braintree_ Someone once proudly told me that Arsenal have more season tickets holders from their own borough than anyone else, so heck, Camden wouldn't even acknowledge this
