@Prashant_Garg_ @MishaTeplitskiy No surprise given neutral in denominator. Econ twitter is more about research results than advocacy. “What are effects of policy X?” not “Let’s do X!” imho that’s not necessarily bad.

@MishaTeplitskiy The latter: (Pro-anti)/(pro+anti+neutral) So denominator are all tweets about climate

Economists, with least pro climate tweets across academia, is a finding I personally found most interesting and sad at the same time. 🧵/

@clarklgray I guess even if there's a corr. b/w undernourishment and stunting it may not be evident in figure b/c stunting data are missing for years when undernourishment increased. Looks like only 5 or 6 (some in L.America?) out of 25 countries show a clear drop in stunting post 2018

@gdsheriff Stunting is from DHS/MICS surveys so not every year. Undernourishment is based on aggregate food availability I think.

Does anyone have thoughts on how to reconcile these two graphics? FAO says % undernourished is increasing in Africa and South Asia, but % stunted from DHS/MICS is still declining everywhere. Changes in the broader health environment? (I have to teach this on Monday 😬.)

When you dismantle the USSR, destroy a million man army for a cost of 292 coalition dead, and secure civil rights for the disabled but the electorate is mad that the top tax bracket went from 28% to 31% for people making 2-3x the median income
