Seems to be a “it’s not going to get better if you keep playing” type of thing. Not ideal timing, but necessary, and it gives him some additional rest. I’m hoping for 4-3 record while he’s out but expecting 2-5.

V easy to get down because of recent run - and Clippers, Lakers, Magic is very concerning about intensity.
But also V easy to ignore that before those 3 we won 5 on the bounce with some great performances too.

Guys look exhausted on this team, especially Rudy. Finch hasn't played 10 guys but it's not like they've only played 7 guys either... Is this actually a negative side effect from being healthy and guys playing so many minutes this season?

Doris is absolutely right about Ant. He's amazing when he's focused but he can lose interests if the opponent isn't as exciting as OKC. If he can be consistent he will become MVP one day

Finally: I feel like a broken record but Jaden has to figure it out. He had 16 tonight but it was from 1 good stretch. It isn't just his scoring that's off lately but his overall game has been awful. Last 5 games:

The Timberwolves haven’t fully come out of their January swoon, and are now running out of time.
It’s hard to analyze anything of significance when the team is playing disinterested, disconnected, and stale basketball.
What is straight up lack of effort and trust, and what is actual basketball Xs and Os. It’s really hard to tell what’s what.
Extremely disheartening road trip. Wolves don’t look like a team that could come out of the play in nonetheless the first round right now.

I just chuckle at how deep OKC is. No Chet, no Hartenstein. So Jaylin Williams goes off for 29 tonight and 30 one week ago. The Thunder just have endless bodies and they keep on flourishing no matter who’s in. What a team.
