Russian propagandist Sladkov is threatening to create “a not-so-quiet life” for Finland, a state that was brutally invaded by Russia and stood up to defend another country attacked by Russia decades later. Remember, according to these people, your only way to live is through full submission to them.

A Russian mobilized man was given two buckets of carrots and a bag of onions instead of 3 million rubles for his being wounded. Oleg Rybkin, a mobilized man from Volgograd region, was denied payment of 3 million rubles ($32,600) after being wounded. Local authorities gave his family two buckets of carrots and a bag of onions instead, his wife Irina told Mozhem Obyasnit. According to her, 45-year-old Rybkin was drafted to the front on September 25, 2022, just four days after Russian President Vladimir Putin announced mobilization. The summons was handed to the man at his job. Two hours after his arrival at the military enlistment office, he was sent to the firing range without a medical examination. The training lasted about three weeks, and by the end of October, Rybkin was already in the trenches on the front line.

Ten years ago, Euromaidan - our revolution - began. Fingers broken by policemen, sleepless nights, bitter cold. As soon as we won, the war began, which continues to this day. I hope we can give our children a life that's a little more peaceful. 1/2

Marichka Paplauskaite is a graduate student at the Kyiv School of Economics studying memory studies. Yesterday, she was at the train station in Kherson when the Russians shelled it with ballistic missiles. This is her story: It was very scary. 1/

Magyar says the drones he ordered on 13 Dec are now blocked on the Polish border despite claims that no border blocks are present. He now has to urgently search and buy drones from within Ukraine as Russian EW is very effective in Krynky. Find more details in his post: t.me/robert_magyar/…

Russian Igor Salikov an ex Wagner Mercenary and Officer is to testify at The Hague on atrocities carried out on Ukrainians within Ukraine. Salikov said he took part in Russia’s 2014 annexation of Crimea, as well as the 2022 invasion of Ukraine, where he said he had witnessed Moscow’s role in stoking a separatist conflict in the eastern regions of Donetsk and Luhansk, “atrocities against civilians” and child abductions. #RussiaIsATerroristState #RussiaIsANaziState

Yeah, so for some reason Putin decided to start making excuses again today, perhaps the feedback from his 4-hour conference was not as good as he had hoped? Apparently, he was doing nothing in Ukraine in 2014, just observing, but then "was forced to intervene!". And his BEST next decision was to wait another 8 years until deaths came down to almost zero in the Donbass, and kill another 500,00 people, and counting. Who is buying these pathetic excuses? Just admit you're a maniac who wants to kill, kill, kill. It will be better for eveyrone.

Olena Vladymyrets, 94, from Vinnytsia, and her daughter Nina made 4,000 trench candles for our Defenders. The women make trench candles at home, and volunteers provide the materials. Olena survived two wars and the Holodomor. She wants there to be no need for trench candles. 📹: Suspilne

1st Amendment was never meant to protect/promote false worship, Satanism, or blasphemy. Magistrates (city fathers) are to be nursing fathers to the church.
Zachary Garris@ZacharyGarris

Two essential facts to know before expressing an opinion on American church-state relations or the CN debate: (1) The 1st Amendment (1791) only prohibited a federally established church. This is evident by the language ("Congress shall make..."), as well as the practice of state churches at the time. The 1st Amendment was not applied to the states (see Barron v. Baltimore), not even after the 1868 14th Amendment (see Slaughter-House Cases). The Supreme Court first applied the 1st Amendment to the states in 1947 (Everson v. Board), a ruling that misused Jefferson & Madison. This is part of the "Incorporation Doctrine," which was destroyed by Raoul Berger in Government by Judiciary. (2) The American version of the Westminster Confession of Faith & Catechisms (1788) does not teach a secular or religiously-neutral civil government. It did move away from the 1646 view of church-state relations (e.g., removing "that all blasphemies and heresies be suppressed"). However, the American version says civil magistrates are to "maintain piety" (WCF 23.2) and as "nursing fathers" have the duty "to protect the church of our common Lord" (WCF 23.3). The Westminster Larger Catechism still says the church is "countenanced and maintained by the civil magistrate" (WLC 191). The American Standards even support Sabbath laws, as (1) "Superiors"—including those of the "commonwealth" (WLC 124)—have the duty "to see that" the Sabbath "be observed by all those that are under their charge" (WLC 118); and (2) Blotting the Sabbath's "memory" brings "in all irreligion & impiety" (WLC 121), and magistrates are to "maintain piety (WCF 23) and as "superiors" are to "instruct" & "protect... all things necessary for soul & body" (WLC 129).

@BryanRiggs @Eric_Conn Yes, within a Christian framework. The room for differences was concerning denominations/doctrinal distinctions, not pagan religions, the first amendment was never meant to create pluralism
