A possibly insane thing I am thinking of doing this year is tracking every single restaurant meal (dine in and take out) in a spreadsheet. What easy-to-fill-in categories should I track???

@jakebeldercars We know not what we had. Side note: ppl today are beside themselves re: drastic generational model design changes (e.g., Hyundai/Kia), but E39>>E60 and E38>>E65 were such a sea change that they rocked every boat and raised all tides.

@WilliamByrdUSA Not ideal digital design: It’s front/center + close enough in design to the real marker near the tank readout for many drivers to assume it means that. More annoying are the instant mpg bar or active media display that inextricably isn’t allowed on certain cluster screens.

I pulled into (and out of) the ole Kum & Go to fill up the Alfa and trusted that the dash display would know what side the tank was on. It did not.

@Lambothirteen I got sideswiped just looking at that photo. Also give a side berth to any V6 Charger, regardless of age + nearly any Infiniti G3X model variation.

That aforementioned Cadillac had cut across the pre-bollard gore area in front me + that Honda Pilot already on the shoulder or I may have been able to get over earlier.

I had someone being chased & a trooper pass me on the right shoulder one night on 66. Scared the hell out of me because I was about to pull there to get out of the way.
