she's out

It’s official — after 6 months of building and closed applications, we're excited to finally announce our new @vercinyc space, new community initiatives, and new programming... We started Verci because we believe you need spaces and community to be able to create, build, and grow something impactful. But most modern day spaces don't help with this. Universities and schools can be inaccessible and expensive, most co-working spaces are bland and don't allow for you to do your best work, and social clubs that actually build community are far and between. @anantvasudevan and I experienced this first-hand, after building 50+ hacker houses, launching 200+ events, learning from 300+ members, and experimenting with 4 pop-up and mid-term spaces over the past 2.5 years. But it doesn't have to be this way. Our vision is to cultivate the new renaissance with a new kind of space that allows anyone to build a sustainable life doing what they enjoy. Nurtures lifelong learners, soulful creators, and thoughtful makers. Usually, it's an unconventional path. But it shouldn't be. We're still in early days and can't wait for what's next. Our applications are now open at verci (dot) com. We're limiting the cohort to ~60 people, and already have had 100 applications in the past 24 hours. DM me if you have any questions or just want to chat about it!
