@benbjurstrom @JakeDChampion @ryanchenkie Good to know. Does the mini split still heat/cool well enough with the windows open?
English

@geek_dave @JakeDChampion @ryanchenkie It’s definitely an issue. I bought a co2 monitor and open the windows if I’m going to be inside for more then an hour.
English

@benbjurstrom @JakeDChampion @ryanchenkie Considering something similar. Do you ever feel like the air gets stale from lack of ventilation? I wonder about the CO2 buildup specifically, leading to fatigue/headaches.

@JakeDChampion @ryanchenkie It’s a type of AC/Heating unit. This is the one I bought pioneerminisplit.com/products/pione…

@chaseadams Timer: use it every day for cooking and games. Current date since I always forget (bonus preview of tomorrow's date!) Sunset/sunrise time is nice to plan my day. High/low/current temp. 4 things I used to check my phone to see and can now keep a passive awareness of.

@chaseignited @SlackHQ +1. One thing I wrestle with is whether it's OK to discuss things *in the feed channel* (in response to an automated msg) or whether those channels should be silent except for the bots.
English

A @slackhq tip: use feed channels for any inbound automated messages.
"feed" channels give team members the ability to see *at a glance* if messages in a channel are 1) relevant to their work and 2) are for a specific service.
They increase clarity & focus in an organization.

insight that still holds: "A remote team may be less productive than that same team if it were co-located, but may still be more productive than the best co-located team you can form." by @martinfowler bit.ly/revscolo #agile #culture #devops

Early in my time managing the Data team at Stripe, @jeffbalogh built a tool called Hubble with massive impact. Here's what it did:
- there was a big textarea to type a SQL query into
- it showed results in a table
- it cached the results, and gave the query + results a permalink

1/Welp, I spent last night continuing my research into the #blizzard2022 #hoax.
Thankfully, @Twitter and Facebook have helpful algorithms that pointed me in the direction of *real* experts who helped me round out my thinking.
English

@grafana_matt Thanks @grafana_matt ! Hoping to get the kiddos back on stage again sometime soon!
English

Oldie but a goodie, esp if you love #Grafana and/or have kids...

I have big news:
I'm staying at @murmur to help build strong, resilient, inclusive teams through working agreements!
This is the first time in a very long time that I've felt like I'm exactly where I should be after a year of working on something.
