It’s hard to understand what the other 39% are thinking. Once you drive a Tesla, it’s like driving an all-seeing sensor with a super computer behind the scenes doing all the decision making, driving and navigation. Also, you never have to go to a gas station.

Not necessarily true. There IS consensus among common sense of what a decent app is. This includes a huge set of features, strengths and common practices. Traditionally this used to take months or years of hard work for large teams to meet that low bar of “decent”. One-shotting apps is cartoonish, yes, but the scenario of: let’s start with Uber, now let’s take this away and let’s add this is completely within reasonable expectations and I might argue that: 1) we might be already there 2) niche apps are going to start flooding the market because smart people are going to be able to leverage that baseline criteria and just build on top of it. It’s still a lot of work and iterations, but now reasonable to execute as a one-man-band.
