@geoffOneill6 @RobbieBarwick The 2 biggest bulk carriers were sold to another govt owned Australian shipping company which operated them until 2012, when they were sold for scrap.

@HarryFromSyd @RobbieBarwick Yes to a degree, but we have privatised all our railway freight systems, we have no capacity to carry vast amounts of extra freight as the private owner companies have not invested in extra locos or wagons. Road is the most inefficient way to carry bulk freight.

Just watched FriendlyJordies latest live stream, it's funny how he copes ''Well One Nation is only 20% of the electorate.'' Yeah dude, if you look at primary vote totals, the mighty Australian Labor Party is like 30-35% of the electorate.

@AvidCommentator Remind me, what credible plans does One Nation have for those two spaces? They’ve got thought bubbles and slogans, not much in the way of “plans” though. You’re not wrong on the majors, but just worth noting One Nation aren’t any better.

One Nation has largely gained ground not because they have won it in a pitched political battle, but because Labor and the LNP have largely ceded the field on key issues such as housing and immigration by simply not having credible plans in the eyes of the electorate.

Yes they did raise immigration but the ALP have taken it to stratospheric levels, yes it’s has come down, but not as far as they said it would, over 2.9 million on temporary visas! An insane amount during a housing crisis!
