@brusselsproutEU Especially in tech I often see projects that sound cool but have no real commercial value or would never hold together outside a lab. It's also damaging the ecosystem, as I have met a lot of decent developers who waste their time building one off prototypes for these projects.

@georgios_kon Well, there's a few hundred Horizon shops all around the EU systematically proposing hundreds of useless projects & then harvest tens of successful but still useless proposals that never deliver something. It's a racket. No-one cares to hold them accountable. Here's a GR example
